The SAS Board works alongside SAYI for social and cultural events at Yale. Learn more about the South Asian Youth Initiative and subscribe to our weekly newsletter.
All Board members play an integral role in running all SAS events throughout the year and coordinate with the other South Asian organizations on campus to help foster inclusivity, representation, and engagement within and outside of the South Asian community. SAYI is the first-ever opportunity for South Asian youth to come together and have critical discussions, take part in workshops on gender violence, mental health, and political activism, meet influential South Asian American leaders, and build community among the diaspora. Each of these roles contributes to building the South Asian community in various ways, and we welcome all new visions and ideas!
