Join us for an empowering evening with Yale Women’s Leadership Initiative at the South Asian Women in Finance panel on April 18th from 6-7:30pm at HQ 136! Our esteemed speakers from Morgan Stanley will share insights and experiences from their career journeys in the finance and entrepreneurship industry.

Speaker Line-Up:

Divya Jha, Vice President at Morgan Stanley

As a Vice President at Morgan Stanley, Divya Jha leads strategic projects and manages intercompany funding across global markets. With an MBA from Cornell University, MS and Bachelors in Finance and Accounting from Pune University and over 15 years of experience in financial services Divya has developed a deep understanding of the industry’s key challenges and opportunities. She has leveraged her skills in financial forecasting and business strategy to optimize for performance and growth.
 
She also volunteers for organizations such as NY Common Pantry and mentors’ students through StreetWise Partners. Her mission is to deliver value-added solutions to clients and stakeholders, while ensuring compliance and risk management.
 
Niti Singh, Managing Director aand Global Head of Treasury Technology at Morgan Stanley
 

Niti Singh is a Managing Director at Morgan Stanley. She is the global head of Treasury and Cash Management Technology based in New York.  In her role, Niti is responsible for partnering closely with Treasury, Operations and Finance teams to provide technology solutions to support Morgan Stanley’s Liquidity and Funding resources across firms’ entities.

Niti joined the firm in 2007 as an Analyst as part of the Technology Analyst Program in Mumbai and relocated to New York in 2010. Niti holds a graduate degree in Mathematics from Delhi University and a Masters in Computer Application from the University of Mumbai. 

Niti is passionate about D&I and is an active participant in various firms’ networks. She is very focused on helping advance young women in their careers through active mentorship and sponsorship.

 

Paromita Roy, Executive Director at Morgan Stanley

Paromita Roy is an Executive Director at Morgan Stanley and has been based in Morgan Stanley’s New York offices since 2010. In her current role, Paromita leads transformation and governance for the U.S. Banks’ Capital Planning Division. Prior to her current role in Capital Planning, Paromita led the index structuring and trading for North America in Morgan Stanley’s Fixed Income Division.
 
Paromita did her Executive MBA from Columbia University. She also did her Masters in Financial Engineering (University of Michigan, Ann Arbor) and Physics (Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay). Paromita lives in New York with her husband.
